I installed my heat mirrors yesterday. This morning my car would not start. It was like 10 degrees F but that should not matter since the battery is brand new (maybe a few weeks old). The installation went swimmingly and everything was fine yesterday.

So, could the heated mirrors put a drain on the battery? I made sure to plug the cable back in properly as well.

How can they be continuously on if they are activated when the rear defrost is?

If you're just using the existing harness (for the OEM heated mirrors) there shouldn't be a problem, but if you went a different route and did your own wiring (no clue why you'd do it, but if you did) it's possible you could tap the continuous power line instead of the rear defrost line.

Where can you buy this heated mirror kit from? Was it easy to install?

Go HERE. You can get the full mirrors, or just the glass parts. The full replacement is three bolts and a harness plug, the glass only requires some minor wiring.
