I posted this up in the lighting forum, but those forums never get much traffic.....and I'm kinda in a rush, I hope you guys understand. :)

I was wondering what kind of bulbs the headlights use....mainly, the projection bulbs. I take it that they have:

1) a highbeam bulb
2) a lowbeam bulb
3) a marker bulb

I'm referring to the Canadian spec m3. I actually have a set of H4's ("9003") Sylvania Coolblues left over from my EL that I would like to keep....if not, I'm selling them (hence my hurry to know the specs for the headlights).

I'm assuming that the H4's won't work, since they're a combo of high and low beams....and the m3 has separate bulbs for the high/low beams.

The high beams and low beams are two separate bulbs (like BMWs) - turned them on on Friday when I saw the GS. Don't know the spec though...

And don't worry, the lights foum gets traffic too.

Yeah, it's too bad.

I wish I could just use my CoolBlues....they were quite good.

Assuming it's the same in US, does that mean I could get both H11 and H7 (55w) fog light pairs from Hoen?

Or will that H11 not fit in the projector because it's labled as "fog light?"

Just wondering.

H11 and H7 bulbs will fit in H11 and H7 sockets. H11 is normally installed in car's fog lights. That's why they are labeled that way. H7 and H11 are just sizes. You can buy them in Europe , us, or Canada and they will fit your car.
