And it's giving me a complex. Just realized this the other day. I am more than happy to change the bulb myself. The problem is, when I search online to find which bulb I need, I'm coming up with a ton of options. Anyone know what specific part number I should be looking for?

Just go to Wal-Mart or K-Mart if you have those stores where tou live and get Sylvania Silverstar bulbs for your M3, can't say you will love them but im happy with them

I've had the same problem, but luckily mine haven't gone out yet. The lights themselves usually say what type they are, though, so you could take the bad one out and see exactly what type it is.

Most likely they are H7's. The clip is a PITA, but there are some good guides on here. Google search helps as well. The bulb information should also be in the owner's manual.

i dont even bother latching the clip back.

100k miles and 2 lightbulbs later, no problems
