Ok I want to get exhaust for my car . It has a 2.5 engine and what I’m wondering is this if u look at the newer Mazda3 that has the 2.5 engine in it. the exhaust system is different than what the 2.3 which my 04 originally had . It has a bigger muffler and splits and has two pipes coming out the back but as far as I can tell it’s all the same before that. Even if I look let’s say on borla exhaust site they have the single one and they also have the setup I mentioned so what one would be better the exhaust for the 2.5 or the exhaust that fits the 04 2.3 engine any help anyone have the 2.5 swap what exhaust did u put on it

So what else can I do to this 2.5 engine? I am doing exhaust this weekend I got the borla catback.I was looking into reflashing the pcm what is the best way to go here I keep getting check engine light for 0446 and sometimes 2178 I think but it only happens when I drive a lot and keep stopping at places and getting right back In and start up idk doesn’t run bad just comes on p0446 and p2178 and I’m sure once I do exhaust it will have new one I know is models are less programmed then same car for Europe so what is best way to get most out of the tune what is cheapest and best way to do this and who has support for the new flash ? Cause the one place I seen they have a flash for the 2.5 swap but it’s still in beta and has no support and costs 500 plus so is there anything that is cheaper and does same things I just want the most out of my setup without having issues or check engine light. Any help or possibly point me to someone who can help
