Re: halo0's 2009 Galaxy Gray hatchback picture thread is back

Yay, the first person to post.

Cant wait to see the wheels mounted. im getting my tires mounted and balanced tomorrow as well. I took pics of the wheels sitting inside my hatch and ready to get going.

What are your impressions on the tires you have on your rx8's. I have the kuhmo AST's ready for tomorrow but im probably not gonna mount them on my 3 until spring. Not ready to have any chips on my wheels

I only had the Kumho ASX on there for about 4000 miles during the fall but I'm happy with them so far. If I had known I was going to buy snow tires I would have gone with the pure summer version over the all seasons. I bought them mostly because of positive stuff I heard on here about Kumhos. They don't have the greatest treadlife warranty but the price was right :)

Great looking 3! The orange calipers contrast the Galaxy Gray really well.

thats what I read about tread being poor but definitely the price is right. What are the bolts you have there? Im trying to find a set of Lugs for my new set that is reasonably priced.

In the thread I posted asking for opinions on my nuts  someone suggested McGard spline lug nuts. I ordered them from amazon.com and ended up paying about $85 total with the installation tool. I think they look pretty sweet. I'm not sure how well the black coating will hold up under abuse though.

I really like the smoked side markers on that color hatch. Nice job! Looks like it's all coming together really well ;)

Thanks Tiny! Smoking the sidemarkers is one of the cheapest mods I did (< $10) and yet it makes quite a noticeable difference.
