Im thinking about installing a pioneer avic f700bt into my 2007 mazdaspeed3 with the bose system.

I was going to get the kanatech double din kit from here:

The steering wheel adapter:

The PAC-SWI
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127SWIPS/PAC-SWI-PS.html?search=pac%5c

However I'm confused about the need for a Bose adapter, the guy at crutchfield said its not needed, however Shokits.com has an adapter and states that you need to use it if you have the bose system

http://shokits.com/Adapters-/-Converters/Kanatechs-Bose-Adapter-For-Mazda/flypage.tpl.html

Do I need anything else to install the system correctly?

I am new to car stereos but I'm going to try to install this with a friend, any special tools needed?

thanks for the help!
