I spoke with Wheeldude about the possibility of a group buy on these wheels, and Zoeb said they only need 3 orders to get these made. The cost would be $925 shipped and it would take 2 months to get made as this is a custom order. These can not be ordered from anywhere! I would guess that if this were to go through, myself and the two others would be the only people driving around on this particular wheel.

Anyways, the group buy is for a set of 18 x 7.5 et +45 Rota GRA's in "Titanium Chrome" finish. I do not believe they can mix and match offsets, or sizes.

In case anyone out there was wondering what the wheels look like:

Here is how it could look on a Mazdaspeed 3:

Unfortunately, Rota doesn't make the GRA in an 8" width. 7.5" is as wide as they go. And the only offsets available are +45 and +48. I figured the +45 would give the most flush look you can get without rubbing. +42 would be a little too close for comfort, and I really want to avoid having to roll my fenders.

Yes, but not for the sizing. The Titanium Chrome finish has been discontinued for a couple years now and it was only available on the 17" wheels back then. Now they offer the same wheel but in 18", but they dropped the Titanium Chrome finish. The standard wheel set would cost $725 shipped, but the chrome finish adds $50/wheel to the order.

Okay, this may piss off the moderators and probably some of the people who have showed interest, but I got to throw it out there to get your guys opinions.

The Rota GRA's are nice, but what if we changed it to the G Force:

The G Force is still a 10 spoke wheel, but it gets rid of those little flares on the spokes that the GRA has. In addition, I think the wheel has a slight bit more concave look to it as well, but it may just be the different offsets I am seeing online.

The G Forces are a much closer match the the Advan RS, or the wheels on that concept Mazdaspeed in the original post.

I certainly hope this does not confuse things, but since no order has been placed, and this is all just talk still, we may be able to get something to work out.

Let me know your thoughts.

I would do an 18 x 8 +48 in the G Forces, but not in gold. That would look hideous with my MGM Speed.

Maybe hypersilver or something like that, but I just wouldn't be able to do gold.

Also, I don't even know if they can do a 18 x 8 in +48 for just 3 people. I have already asked the question to Zoeb, but I expect a couple days to get a response.
