I read about the throttle body grounding mod and decided to do it today. I should've connected one side of the wire to the throttle body first but I connected the wire to the battery first instead. It was cold so my hands were shaking a little. Then while I was trying to unscrew the bolt on the throttle body I accidently made connection to the positive terminal of the battery. Of course the sparks came out I grabbed the wire right away but still it melted a tiny bit of the positiveterminal of the battery (like it was welded). So my concern is that would it damage anything? So far my car runs okay I've only noticed a tiny bit of gain on the throttle response, but for few dollars of material it wasn't bad. I hope I didn't kill anything.
