I just wanted to know how bad is it when you:

1. grind gears, going from lets say 3rd to 4th gear and you let go of the clutch ealry and you grind the gears. how bad is that?

2. when youre about to park and you have the car in first gear but you think its in neutral and you let go of the clutch and it violently stalls. how bad is that for the gears? that happend to me today.

That isn't a tranny fluid issue. He said let up on the clutch to soon.

1) Pretty bad. Don't do it often. Once in a blue moon won't destroy the gear synchronizers unless your are really trying to jam it in there.

2) Not really harsh on the transmision at all, it is harsher on the engine. However, again no big deal unless you do it all the time (I mean like several times a day). I think you need to get in the habit of shifting to neutral right before you come to a stop...just a suggestion.
