i have a 05' S-model sedan, my oem grill got destroyed a year ago in an accident i had, and i replaced it with the GV grill from "thespeedline". I had fitment issues with that grill and just recently it got destroyed on the hwy because of a large pothole. In conclusion, i went through two grills and I need another one.

I really love the GV grill’s style for my sedan but they don't sell it anymore due to poor fitment issues. i've been doing some research and found the K-style grill that will fit for the S-model and has zero fitment issues from the reviews on this board. I don't really like the style but i would prefer anything over the stock appeal.

this is another grill i like as well but apparently they only fit on the non S-models. It looks like the auto-exe grill for the sedan

anyways i just want to open up a discussion on experiences with grills, new grills, or opinions related for the S-sedan grill. I want to know if there are more options for the S-sedan then the one posted above. so in the end i can decide on what to get.

but i like the first one better, then put a red logo in it. like one dude had a kenstyle logo in it, was nice, and another dude put 2.3 in small red emblem in there, or something like that.

I've got to ask.. how did you destroy the grille by hitting a pothole?

There's another nice looking grille from I believe eurosportgarage on ebay, I don't think we ever figured out what'd happen with an S car though. It looks like it fits perfectly on an i, someone here (jdanielsg) put the stock S grille on his i and it looked like it fitted perfectly, but others have said aftermarket grilles for the i won't fit properly on the S, and posted pics to prove this.

I'd really like to know the situation with i vs S grills too, I just don't like any of the current ones enough to get one and try it. I'd really like a grille for the 04-06 cars which is styled like the 07 stock grille or even the speed3 grille.

Seems like the grilles that do fit on the s model will also fit the i model, just not the other way around
What I don't understand is how there's no company out the except Nabobery that will produce a well fitting grille for the s model, as clearly there is a demand for aftermarket grilles (open-mouth, GV style, 07 replica, one slat, etc). If they design it, people will buy it.

my grille always had fitment issues it would always slightly pop out of place if i hit a bump on the road or a sewer drain hard enough (i try to avoid them but you can't avoid all) and i would always have to pop it back into place when it shifts out of place. Anyways on the ramp to the hwy there was a unavoidable pothole that was enormous, I was driving in the middle of the night and went over it. the shock of the impact tore my grille out of place. and the wind blew it away and probably now i think it's broken into thousands of pieces scattered somewhere on the hwy.

i agree we need more grilles for the s-sedan. and nabbory's quality of grilles are really poor =/
