the law here is anything on the rear windshield and back windows, and 70%on the fronts, but i decided to get the same on the fronts anyway. if i do get a ticket, it'd only be $10 to pay it off and i'll get stuff put back on (maybe a lighter shade). 5% all the way around.

yeah, well, i doubt i'll have much of a problem. i see it all the time around here, and i live in a good area. i hardly ever see cops, let alone see people get pulled over for dumb reasons.

It looks nice, but I'll second somebody's comment that 5 percent on the whole car is going to get a you a ticket, and it's likely to be a pricey one. That is, unless you get a doctor's note saying you need tint on the windows. And btw, CA law requires no tint (70 percent from the factory I guess) on the front windows. For clarification, see the vehicle code section 26708, stating "No person shall drive any motor vehicle with any object or material placed, displayed, installed, affixed, or applied upon the windshield or side...windows" Go here http://www.tintdude.com/atoh.html#California for details.

actually, no matter how dark it is, the fix it ticket is the same price. $10. i've had that ticket before. it's not that big of a deal. take the tint off, get the ticket signed off, pay the fee.

Really, it's only 10 bucks? Shoot, that's not bad at all. I still say you should get a doctor's note and then you can just say it's for your eyes, and they can't give you the ticket at all.
