Allrighty, I need some new shocks. I talked to [email protected] and came up with a rough GB idea. Koni FSD's for *about* $525 + shipping. This price is not set in stone and it could go slightly higher. We need 5 sets and now the good or bad part (good if you gotta save up, bad if you want em' now), they won't be available till around April 20th. So, if you're interested let me know via this thread. I'll give it till mid-late March and if it looks like a go then cool, if not I'll be buying a set myself.

Interesting... It would even be better if there's a bundle for springs as well.

Koni does make complete kits I have the adjustible yellows on my 3 and I sold the springs that came with the kit since I already had some. See what your guy can do on these part numbers http://www.koni-na.com/display.cfm?mt_id=1&mod_id=0&mak_id=25&my_year=2005&submit=Continue

im intersted if he goes like 500 shipped cause the konis are 600 + s/h and i happen to know the price dealers get em for :)

not interested in a package with springs cause I have a car show coming up that is sponsored by a company that is making a line of springs for our car(s) using my car so I will have a free set of custom made lowering springs already.

How Low Can He GO!

im ready to buy

Me too will be interested if paired with the pro kit...was actually looking to buy the pro kit now and the koni later...but if there's a good deal then I'll get all...

FYI, there is no difference in the components whether you buy the springs / FSDs together or if you get them separately. There is only about a $5-$10 savings at regular pricing for the kit (not accounting for any extra S&H), so you should still come out ahead if you have to buy then seperately.

You may find that there are some that may want to keep the stock springs & just replace the struts (there was someone who autocrossed that didn't want to lower the car), so offering the FSDs as a stand-alone may actually get more people interested in the GB.

Are you sure about that? Any docs you can point me to? I was offering FSD's alone but people are looking to get it all in one shot, so I'm looking at that angle as well.

+1 on Steve holding my wallet hostage.

Apparantly they have Complete Kit with FSD and Pro

2150 4040 Retail Price: $1,136.00 KONI online Price: $852.00 per kit

I am still deciding should I lowered my car if I have to drive in the snow. Even in Vancouver, we have snow as thick as 2 inches lately.... or should I just get the shocks for better handling.

killer23d,

What are you looking for in springs? Performance or looks? If you are just looking for performance only I highly suggest the Racing Beat springs. It's got a VERY mild drop (.6" front, .5" rear) but has a stiffer spring rate than stock. So you won't have to worry about the snow, and with a Racing Beat spring/Koni FSD Combination, you'll have yourself a highly upgraded suspension.
