The new Medieval Motorsports DogBone Rear Motor Mount Mazdaspeed 3/Mazda 3/ Mazda 5.

This mount uses an 65A hot poor urethane. This new material holds like a 100 durometer, but contains anti vibration molecules that keep 85% of the harmonics in the bushing (less cabin vibrations). We are the only one on the market using this material in our motor mounts. Our mount will tighten up the drivetrain and help eliminate wheel hop.

Direct replacement for the Mazda 3 (2.3L or 2.0L), Mazdaspeed 3, or Mazda 5 Rear Motor Mount

The Price will be $50 SHIPPED anywhere in the US. PM me for international prices.

Send paypal payment to [email protected]

GB will end Monday night March 3 at 8pm PST

How does this compare to there earlier vertion?

Same bushing, just made from steel instead of alum. They will hold the vibration just like the alum version did.

Isn't this mount the same as TRZ "Dog Bone" Rear Motor Mount?

With better bushing material. We wanted a sleeper look other than the bright Alum.

I currently have the Corksport inserts. How would this compare to those? Less/More vibrations?
[/quote]

It would be less vibrations and hold the engine more...

Who told you this?

Aluminum transmits high frequency vibrations (as do, to a lessor extent, poorly welded steel ones) while steel absorb vibrations.

Nope, I just don't go on there hardly ever.

I was merely posting information that I found. This forum is supposed to be about information...

I have learned this from reading... Such as bike frames and handle bars... Aluminum flexes more which in turns absorbs vibrations over steel. Also there is a patent on it that says aluminum is better at absorbing impact and vibration vs steel... CPE have also said this... However with the same size aluminum is much weaker than steel.
