Is there any way to reset the gas light on a 2010 Mazda3 ?

when I start the car the gas light comes on, & I know that my gas tank is almost full. When I move the car a bit, light goes out & gas gauge slowly starts to move up. this happens quite often. I read somewhere that it can be reset using the trip button. Any Ideas?
