got a question here.
currently, I own 07 mazda 3 S GT and the gas level reads very funny when it is cold out. For example, I had less than a full tank and it reads full most of the time. Sometimes, when car warms up, it goes down to the level; however, most of the time it does not do it.

This is not normal is it?

Plus, the dealer told me that if there is not any problem, I still have to pay them looking at it. is this right?

I'm 99.9% sure that there is something wrong with it.

How much of a fluctuation are you talking about?

the dealership should look at it for free if its under warranty....If a dealer does that...I would take it to another dealer.

no matter what I have, it reads above full when it is cold out there. Even if I have only about 3 marks from the bottom, it reads above full.

That's definitely not normal.
There is no good reason why the dealer shouldn't fix it under warranty.

Not normal. It should never cost anything for a dealer to look at your car under warranty if you suspect a problem.

Dealer has to replicate the problem so make sure you take it there on a COLD day when you think the problem will occur.

If you take it on a hot day when there's no problem of course the dealer will tell you nothing is wrong with it. heh
