Does anyone know how much gas left in the tank after "miles-to-empty" showing 0 (nothing)?

not sure but when your gas light comes on its 2 gallons (04-05)
These cars are what 14.5gallon tanks (06 I have) Iv gotten the needle on empty and got scared and filled it up and still only put in 11.7gallons. So for me its 2.8g left or 67.2miles
yea, when my light goes on i start gettin kinda scared its gunna die on me haha. everyone says theres still like 2 gallons left, i guess i just have to build up the courage to ignore the "oh shit" gas light in the corner
the needle is a bad way to judge the gas left. Just go by miles and if the light goes on, you have at least 40 miles to fillup.
no one is judging how much gas is left by the needle
had to guage by mileage as well. It depends on the way you drive ;)

sometimes I drive like the road is crumbling behind me and its gonna suck me in, and sometimes i drive like I am in the clouds and just cruise along the highway :)

I just fill up whenever the light comes on.
I calculate my mileage that way. its not 100% accurate, but meh.
If you really wanna figure out, go get a full gas can, and toss it in your trunk. When you run out of fuel, you don't have to worry about being stuck somewhere. Thats one way to figure out how much is left in the bottom after E.
just reset the trip moniter every time you fill up, should get about 280-300 miles to a tank depending on conditions, and ignor the light thats what i do
