really depends on how bad you want it. Its just the look.
I think it will look really nice on a white car. subtle finish
by the way, the Mazda site lists it for: $108.
you can install it yourself, its very easy. just need the right tools.

The part is same for MAzda3/Mazdaspeed3.

I'm from Toronto Ontario, I'll be signing tomorrow for a white ms3. The dealer said it'll be arriving in late April.
I was wondering if I should put this option or not.

if i ever got one i think i'd get it painted to match, and paint the bolts on it black.

theres someone around here that has that done on his velo red. looks really aggressive in a subtle way.

I have been questioning this mod a bit more recently now. I'm not much for throwing money, just for looks, except for tint and wheels. So I pretty much said "meh" at this one. But it seems that the original door is very flimsy. I hate when washing the car the thing feels like its gonna bend in like a sheet of aluminum foil. So because of that I have been thinking of the fuel door add on. But I would probably want it color matched to my car. There is a thread in the exterior mods section, where people where color matching the fuel door. Many pics I think too. There may have been someone that was doing the work and selling this for a little more. Check it out.

I agree. The aluminum door is one heavy piece of metal; very hard to bend!
If I get a cosmic blue can from Mazda I'll try to color match it!

FWIW, I don't like my car to be noticed (I bought it for driving enjoyment, not ego satisfaction) so I wouldn't do it regardless of what anyone else thinks.

Add another one, it looks good color matched but doesn't look good unpainted.
