it comes with the car when i purchased my Mazda3 GT (S model) '04. so it is used for about 1 1/2 year. As Montreal's road condition isn't good, i took them off.
I'm asking $80 + shipping and I have no idea why it was all rusted, maybe because the weather?!

here's a pic to show the drop of my car when it was on. about 2 finger gap between the tire

wow i have some progress spring I am gonna install this weekend.. I hope their new gray paint stops rusts better than the green paint

I baught the grey ones used and they did not rust at all they are also about 1 year old

Is it just surface rust? I mean if it shouldnt cause any issues im interested in buying them for that price

ya it is just on surface, actually it wasnt that bad before
but before taking the pictures, i wash them with a metal brush (it was dusty).. so i kinda wash-off more green plastic cover thus it looks worse :x

i do a search on the drop of progress springs, and i found 1.3"sedan, 1.5"hatch and even 2" drop
hmm.. so it is urs to decide, for me, it is a 2 fingergap drop :lol:
from distance it shows no gap...

when closer to it, there's a gap between the tire and the fense.

i guess with different angle it looks like different inch of drop, but i'm really not a pro about this, all i can do is show u the pictures of the actual setup~

for the rust, it is just on the surface. i tried to clean the springs after taken off from the car by wash with brush. when i realized it will wash off the rubber and make it worst, i stoped polishing it.
I consulted with some mechanic about the rust on springs, and he replied me as the springs will last longer than the car got rusten through...
