What intake did you purchase this for? There are different sized outerwears, so it may be helpful to let the potential buyers know which intake filter it was for.

This is for an F2 intake, but it must fit multiple filter sizes, since F2 offers several different filters on their intake.

Please refrain from bumping your own FS thread unless you have a price update or that it's been sold. Thanks.

This will fit ANY intake filter because it has an elastic strap which will just close on the piping.

Not true. They are pretty stretchy at one end yes, but the other end and the height need to be within an inch or so of your filter's actual size for it to fit.

That part # is listed in their application guide as fitting filters with these specs:

*Round filter*
Base diameter: 5-6"
Top diameter: 5-6"
Height: 5"

Note that these are measurements of the actual filter element, not any rubber surround for the inlet.

This is a pretty common size for most of our aftermarket CAI/SRI filters (Injen, AEM, Fujita, etc) but you should take some quick measurements to be sure it'll fit your filter well before buying.

+1. Had one on my Injen CAI and it kept the filter super clean. I checked the filter on my turbo inlet after about 6 months, and it was filthy compared to how my old outerwear-protected filter looked after 2 years. So I bought a custom-size outerwear for my new filter and put that on after cleaning it... should stay clean for a lot longer than 6 months this time. Not to mention not having to worry as much about water/condensation getting on the MAF. These are vital!

+2^.

I never cleaned my f5 (almost 15 months) and it wasnt too dirty. A friend didnt belive me when I said it repelled the water so well. He was like " what about a HUGE puddle?"...I walked over and grabbed the garden hose (at the time, I rocked no fog light cover) and turned it on full blast, spraying the intake with the car running ... for over 5 minutes . I know its extreme, but I have ALOT of faith in these things, they are awesome. Only time it won't help is if you submerge it 100% in water

OP, if you can wait untill Friday, I would love to pick this up for my new car ;)
