As the topic title says, I'm selling my stock MS3 wheels and tires. I only put roughly 150 break-in (meaning: gentle driving) miles on these wheels/tires before swapping them out for something else. TPMS sensors are not included; they were removed, and I had the wheels rebalanced with new valve stems.

I've seen these wheels/tires go for $850 on eBay, so that will be my price. Local pick-up preferrably. I am located in San Jose, CA.

Wheel and tire stats:
18" x 7", +52.5mm offset, 5x114.3mm bolt pattern
Bridgestone Potenza RE50A, 215/45R-18

MS3 Wheel selling seems to be a cut-throat industry these days. How come so many of you speed3 owners don't like these wheels?

I was never really a fan of any wheel with more than six spokes. Not to mention, 18's are a bit on the big side for me. For a 10-spoke wheel, they don't look all too bad; but still not my cup o' tea.

Maybe some are selling because they are wrapped in summer tires and it's winter right now.

Plus, the MSP3 rims weigh 25lbs each which is about 4lbs heavier per wheel than most people running the 5-spoke OEM 17s.

Sure the rim is an 18, which means less sidewall flex, but the rim is 7" wide wrapped in 215 wide tires. Anyone can wrap their OEM 17s with 215 tires and will probably have a better performing combo because it's lighter.

I'd have to say the main reason people get them is for the looks of a Mazdaspeed3. I sort of want to get them for this reason alone. I'll have to photoshop what my car looks like and do some more thinking. heh

Looks pretty good, man. Now those with sedans have an idea of what the MS3 wheels look like on their cars. Continue thinking about it. The wheels are still available.

Those are quite expensive for stock wheels. You might consider lowering the price if you really want to sell them, or at least include shipping in that $800 price.

Wheels have been sold! A local MS3 owner picked them up for $800 (wanted a second set as a back-up, I guess). Thanks for playing.
