Does the Injen shield cover the top of the filter or is it open like the Mazdaspeed one?

its open. If your scared of water going in from the top, try the weatherstripping idea. I posted a how to for it somewhere on here.

what do you mean amp connectors?? They have 2 wires from the bulbs coming out that plug into the ignitor.
