Looks great when hooked up so dont know what your talking about, thats the standard resolution for must 15in LCD Computer Monitors.

Also, just a screen, u still need DVD player to hook it up to. It's wide screen, and resolution is nice.

thats actually a good resolution considering dvd players only do 640x480.
