My internet acess is limited , and I only have a few minutes allowed at work to use it, so please bare with me. I searched a bit but can't find much in my allowed time. Thought i seen that someone has done this but i couldn't find the thread again.

1. will the ford bolt to the mazda trans, and does anything need to be done with the input shaft?
2. how much different are the accessorie drives, and will they swap over?
3. i doubt the mazda harness is simular to the fords (connector ends @ the ecu) correct?

just trying to see whats involved.

or,

will the ford head bolt to the mazdas?
that would save some time..

I guess he likes the 3 better but wants the better tuning of the Focus. Not really a bad idea depending on his goals.

1) bolted up find to the 4spd atx
2)accesories are the rough part, i have a 6, and things like power steering are the same for me and the focus....don't know the answer
3)electrical is completely different....but with the bottom end there are no worries outside of the knock sensor and crank pickup which worked fine for me


ford head fits, but would lead to plenty of CEL's with VVT and those goodies
