...do a little homework and find a better price from another authorized retailer. Crutchfield does have excellent service, but their prices are terrible. They use their name and get people that aren't geniuses in the car audio field to buy from them. Sounddomain.com has service that is just as good, generally cheaper prices, better products, and gives the proper install kits for aftermarket head units. thezeb.com has some of the best prices on the internet and backs it up with a lowest price guarantee.

ebay is definitely good, but if people are worried about getting the authorized warranty schtuff, then ebay will not have that 95% of the time.

Sorry - I should have stated that too.

Crutchfield is an excellent resource for most items. I especially like their home receivers, because they will generally take an extra large photo of the rear connectors - VERY handy.

But prices can be found better at other dealers.

But then again, if you don't shop around, you deserve to get screwed just like I did when buying my 3.. :)
