So I have now done my first auto-x in the 3 and all I have to say is wow. I am not sure that I have ever driven a car with that much body roll! I was turning for turn 2 at the apex of turn 1 and still not as close to the apex of turn 2 as I would have liked.

I guess that having raced nothing but a Shifter Kart with no suspension at all, and now getting into a totally stock car is not the best thing to do. Maybe I should have driven a zo6 or something, just to have a smother transition towards the softer suspension. Who knows.

Looks like I need to buy some go fast parts if I am going to ever race her again. Stock is just not that fun. Not saying that I don’t love her, she is good for the street.

Heh you should have driven my Focus. The 3 has very little body roll comparatively.

BTW I though about doing yesterdays practice but I figure 3 weekends of autocross in a row would get me killed

Yeah, I have done 3 weeks straight now, so I will not be at the next one (next weekend) I need the time off to be a dad, and husband and all that good stuff.

What class was your focus? HS? Cuz the SVT is GS. Maggie Jardine just got the SVT and we were comparing times (I beat her )

The car is not that bad, i was only 1 second behind a stock RX8! :twisted:
