Well I've had the car since december and it took me this long to talk myself into touching my perfect stock car, but after much debate I decided I couldn't take it anymore and had to remove some things:

First the side moldings had to go:

Second that ugly 3 on the back had to go (representing the Mazdaspeed still though!) I want to switch over to the MPS badging and will add the "Mazda3" logo back on when / if I do that. but for now:

After taking the trim and 3 off and washing the car, you could see the water bead up along the lines where the adhesive was, guess when I get a full day to work on my car I'll have to clay and wax it to get that small amount residue off.

yeah I love DIY, I did all of my own work on my old Integra, though I think anything that has to do with this engine will be getting done professionally as it looks a lot more complicated then my old 1992 B17 honda engine.

If i had a ms3 i would remove also the mazdaspeed badging.. clean look FTW

I thought about taking it off, but before I did I photo shopped it off and I think w/ just the mazda logo on the back it looks awkward, I may however paint the Mazda logo black and then take off the mazdaspeed badge

next up is smoking all the reflectors on the back, the spoiler brake light and the side markers, might smoke the fog lights too but I think I'm going to go yellow with those right now, we shall see.
