Ram air if designed properly isn't prone to hydro lock at all (far from it) nor is it prone to soaking air filters.

No, I have not seen any for our car. A big 'knock' against ram airs on a lot of cars is they either require cutting the hood or else a replacement hood. This increases the difficulty and permenance of install as well as the cost.

Not many people want to pay $400 for an intake (if not new hood) to $1500 for an intake (with new hood if CF).
