when you want a new exhaust--do you just change the whole pipe or just the tip on the end?

also what is a good exhaust for our cars?

It depends on what you're looking for and the amount of money you have to spend.

There is plenty of information within this forum for you to take a look around, listen to sound clips, read user reviews and then decide what is best for your needs/wants and budget.

That is the best option to go for if you can get around vehicle inspections and still stay legal.

But ya if that's not possible then I suggest getting a catback exhaust system. DO NOT buy the Mazdaspeed Exhaust *Do not confuse with the Mazdaspeed 3 exhaust system because I think they are different* because it is crap, The welds broke on me and now im $500+ down the drain. I'm now trying to come up with the money to get a new system which I am leaning towards the vibrant set up.

I got a trubendz system. Some wielding was needed for proper installation but the overall quality of the kit is good. I got the 3" stainless with highflow cat... all bendz are mandrel bent and the fitment was good. 3" is a little much unless you are goin boosted but the company offers 2.25 and 2.5" versions I beleve. I couldnt beat there prices.
