Ever wander where Mazda got the Speed3 Wheel design from ??????

There are quite a few aftermarket wheels with that design if I am not mistaken?

thats kind of far fetched... plenty of companies use a similar design, both OEM and aftermarket.

a multi-spoke rim is almost like any other multi-spoke rim it's multi-spoke!

But yeah, I guess they look pretty similar.

no i never WONDERED where the speed wheels come from. its just a generic 10, or whatever, spoke design.

actually they have some differences you can see if you pay attention...the spokes are concave-looking on the Mazdaspeed rims while the VW are flush, and the Mazda rims show the lug nuts while the VW don't (obviously). Anyway i've seen tons of wheels looking exactly the same from different aftermarket companies so it's nothing new but nice job spotting that similarity :wink:
