Re: Ebay Fuel Saving Module

if its sounds too good to be true; it is. this is just a resistor for your IAT- itll eat up more fuel for about 5 minutes till the ECU adjusts and then its a waste of 10$ and a terrible excuse to hack up wires in your engine bay.

Back in 1999 the founder of our company was about to purchase a performance chip for his 2001 Ford Expedition. This particular performance chip costs over $500. He purchased the performance chip and was satisfied with the results. However, as the founder of the company being the electrical engineer that he was, he wondered, how does that performance chip actually work? So for 2 years we had a team of researchers and scientists develop a performance module for a fraction of the cost!

What this guy neglects to tell you is that he recruited his team of researchers and scientists from the local 3rd grade science fair. I think their home volcano kit (just add vinegar and baking soda!!!) is what's carrying this company.

Um...did I miss something? The 2001 models came out in 1999? Is this like one of those:
"One bright day in the middle of the night, two dead boys got up to fight..." kind of things? Am I the only one that caught that or is there something that I am missing?

Since our module is inexpensive, it will pay for itself in the first week due to these high fuel savings!
WOW if this is true, I have to do some calculations to see how much MPG I will get...

The product is $8.70. (Not including the ~$7 shipping cost)
The typical driver puts on 15K miles a year, or 288 miles a week.
This means I'd have to go from 22MPG to 29.5MPG in order to save $8.70 in the first week.
Thats a 34% increase in gas mileage!!!

I also read the feedback and it's a resistor.
