I bought the 3i ebay fogs a couple of months back and have installed a set of jdm Luminics Yellow 2500k. Now if I run my finger across the housing u can tell it is starting to become warped in the center of the lenses. On the inside of the housing u can see this white residue on the lenses in the same place that it is warped. I really need someones help on this

this seems to be a common problem with fogs bought from ebay. i believe operator had the same problem.

the bulb output of the luminics probably exceeds what it originally was (i forget) and is thus heating up what is no doubt cheap plastic... 55w, i think, will melt it.

now it says right on the bulb it is rated for 55w=130w. So even stock halogens will burn the lenses?

Not true at all, I've had mine for over 2 years now and no warping issues. Everything from ebay isn't crap.
