I'm writing this for my dear ol' girlfriend. She lost the keyless entry fob and has been doing the manual lock/unlock with the key. Two days ago, the key would not turn to the left to unlock. It would turn to the right and lock, but not to the left.

Using a bit more force than necessary, i was able to finesse the key to the left and unlock the door (note - the inside door lock above the handle did NOT move to the open position). Now the door will not lock and the manual lock button does not move. The electronic lock switch does not lock the door either. The passenger and rear doors lock via turning the key/electronic switch.

It appears that the cable for the manual door lock is seized. The cable runs to the large "box" behind the door hitch and thats where my knowledge ends. Is there anything I can try to unseize this thing? Any assistance is appreciated.

Ohh, and is anyone selling a keyless entry module on the cheap?

Sounds like your actuator may have gone for good. Take it down to the dealer or just a trusted mechanic and see what they say.
