And I'm dumb, but fixed

If anyone follows up or cares, I opened up the remote and found that the "lock" button had broken from its solder. It only worked sometimes because the button happened to be sitting in the right place. I have not checked the second remote, but I guess that my assumption that the same break would not happen to both remotes was a wrong one.

Time to play with solder.

Interesting - I'm encountering my own electrical gremlins as of this weekend. Radio died first. Went to local trusted mechanic yesterday, who played with the fuse boxes, all checked out OK, and after probing all the connections, radio worked again. Hurray!

Now today, the remote fob doesn't want to work, but regular central locking function seems ok. Radio and interior lighting also on the fritz now - not looking forward to dealing with this.
