just wondering if anyone has been successful in putting side mirrors from an RX8 into a Mazda 3....

IIRC, the bottoms of the mirrors are just molded plastic, so if you're mostly after the puddle light effect I'd think it would be easier to just wire a couple of LEDs and mount them in the bottom of the mirror housing.

yes i could do that...

but the RX 8 mirrors look so much cooler too....
