I SOOoo wanted to go to the Boston event... Unfortunately they're only registering Yankees...... Damnit.. it would be so fun.... Those vids looked so damn cool (vids were posted in http://www.mazda3forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=3381) Sigh... we can't go... Maybe if we all (those who want to attend) put some preassure on them they'd include Canadians.

Anyway.. just a little Rant... Even my girlfriend was excited about this event!!!!

I hear that. I'm also disgruntled! At the Calgary Auto show I talked to the Mazda people and told them they should do those events in Canada too. The lady didn't even know what I was talking about. She let me write it down in their suggestion book. :roll:

There were also lots of people complaining at the show about a lack of HID lights and navigation systems in Canada models (me included). The Mazda people didn't know how to answer the complaints. I don't get why it's such a problem...

No HID, No Nav in canada is probably due to price

Let's say you buy a fully-loaded 4 door sedan GT with GFX package, AT, you're at about 27k canadian. If they'd put SAB/SAC, HIDs, NAV, you'd see the price sky rocket to over 30 grand. 30 grand for an economy box.. it wouldn't sell, hence not worth it.

But that's why it's an option! I don't HAVE to take leather on my Mazda3, it's an option. But I want it, and I'll pay for it. I also want HID...
