ok, i will go back in the garage and try to jiggle it around, but even the dome light wouldn't work and that should be working on contact. It is a little wider than the stock normal bulb, maybe I was sent the wrong thing...

i think its common that you have to pull the contacts on the new bulbs out a little bit so they spread out far enough to make contact.

negative ghostrider. jamming should not be necessary, but i could be wrong. maybe jamming is an alternative to gently bending the contacts out a little :dunno:

you might have to flip the bulb around and try it again. if the positives and negatives dont match up on LED they wont light up. i'm sure you were sent the right thing. i have that set. and you dont have to jam it in. it just fits right in and theres a little pressure needed to push the bulb in all the way, but you dont have to JAM

OK, they ARE working now. It took a little persuasion. I had to pull the contacts out away from the plastic before putting the map lights in. As for the dome, well, I guess there is a pos/neg side. /facepalm

Thanks for your help guys, if only they were a little brighter...

Did you only get one festoon bulb? My 08.5 hatch has a festoon in the dome light as well as the trunk light...

Oh yeah, and be sure to post up some pics in the interior LED light pics thread. :)
