Jocco, sounds like quite a nice car! I got the samish price for a SP23 AT sedan, Tit Grey with leather (opted against cruise control) with the SP23 mats. I'm looking forward to getting mine mid next week. Apparently its the first one the dealer is getting kitted out with the leather... must make sure i check the work well...
As for the cruise control, it apparently is an additional stork (at least for the SP23). I did ask if they could put the extra buttons on the wheel, but the answer was no.
correct shaund, with full leather seats they cannot guarantee that the side airbags would deploy adequately. one suggestion was a slit in the side of the front seats (of the leather of course) that would allow them to deploy... or (worse still) that they not cover the sides of the seats at all and just leave them as cloth.
the reason why australia does not have leather as an option and that it must be dealer fitted is these same side airbags which are not present in the american model. the salesperson was trying to tell me it was because of the more stringent safety standards here in australia - same with the lack of a moonroof option... but i pointed out that the base neo model does not have side airbags and it seems to have passed the safety inspection...
i suppose i chose comfort over definite safety. personal choices we all make for our cars
