^^ They basically prevent the control arm from deflecting under power, and keep everything in alignment, and keep away the nasty chatter. So, yes it's like haveing stronger bushings and control arms.
These look really good to me. They fit nicely.

in other words they "bind" the control arm in place....so I would say technically yes it does limit suspension travel. but in a positive way, this shouldn't reduce suspension travel in a vertical sense, but more horizontally

So are there any cons or negatives to this mod?

after removing them if you want to sell them you would then have slightly weakened control arms from having holes drilled through them. this is definitely more a drag racing mod, I am sure people will get better and more consistent 60' times with it.

you will not have slightly weakend control arms, when installing you will not drill extra holes. You're just boring out a existing hole to fit the bolt through it.

VIDEO!!!!

Ok, this video is with stock suspension, stock wheels and tires, 40 psi in the tires and about 45 degrees out. The worst setup for wheel hop. It does alittle hopage but not much. Now if I did this without traction bars, my wheels would be bouncing into my fender wells lol. The suspesion would slam so hard it would make me get off the gas and the car would shake violently.
Now it just gives way less vibs and the steering wheels doesn't vibrate your hands numb lol.
Anyone with aftermarket suspension and lowered should see way better results than my setup. Oh yeah don't forget about the mounts: SU Rear, Turbotech Front, Medieval Tranny, Top Speed Passenger.

well that is good to know, but either way removing metal is weakening it if only a little. I wasn't trying to imply this is a big issue, just mearly digging for something as a negative. wouldn't this also add a small amount of unsprung weight, since some of the weight is supported by the control arm itself.

will this help track/autox car? or more for the drag straight line?? and will this fit with wider tires/wheel??
[/quote]

it might potentially help on the track if the stock setup deflects a lot under hard cornering, but I don't know of any data on that or if this is a problem with this car (my guess is not really). it will add weight which is never a good thing for the track, so its really tough to say, but I don't think it will help or hurt significantly either way, this is more for drag racing. And I don't see wider wheels being a problem with these, appears there is still quite a bit of clearance

better bushings are the real fix for this. someone replaced their bushings and didn't just 'reduce' wheelhop, they 100% eliminated it.

still, this is a lot better than the epic stock wheelhop.

who is this someone?? and what kinda bushings did they replaced with??

enjoy

note from the vids.. wheelhop wasn't just "reduced", it was totally eliminated. there is none at all. just the tires squealing as they should.

This is a reveiw that was quoted by Bioevovle on MSF.com. These are also his pictures.

"I HAVE TRACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let me tell you:
It's Night and Day Difference. Drove it around, thru parking lots and speed bumps kinda hard to make noise or listen for scrap, but nothing lol which is great!. Drove in circles to see if the tires would rub under load/stress, nope didn't rub. Mind you, I'm still on stock suspension, stock wheels, tires and 40psi in the tires. (about the worst setup for wheel hop).
Virtually no wheel hop! Very little to none. No more violent car & steering wheel shakes during launch. The tires just spin lol, I think I burnt about 10,000 miles of rubber away on testing hahahaha, couldn't control myself. First, Second and Third just spinning.....YEEEEEHAAWWWW-MF.
The box was kinda heavy lol. Powdercoated Bars & Brackets, HD Heims, Nut & Bolts.
Welds are great like the tranny mount. For those of you doing it at home need the car higher off the ground to drill the a-arm. I have two sets of jack stands small and large, used large for it. Unless you have a right angle drill (which I didn't).

Had to remove my GT Spec 4-Point Brace (now for sale lol). Mounted the rear brackets and bar. Just snugged them down until everything is in place.

Torque everything down, make sure the bars are horizontal/level."

Where i can buy this kit??
