Do you know how to use cursive handwriting

Every signature I see these days is scribble, including mine. What I want to know is could you write a letter to a distant lover in what we used to call longhand, aka cursive?

well aside from America and a couple of English speaking countries, the rest of the world only uses that type of writing.

pros of learning cursive

1) faster writing
2) able to understand other peoples writing

cons of cursive

?????

faster writing is very useful in school.....
