Cruise Works!!!

I tried searching this topic but couldn't find anything on it.

I remember reading a while ago, that someone's cruise control stopped working after the installation of his turbo kit. Is that a normal thing that should be expected when installing a turbo is was it just that one person's luck?

Re: Cruise Control and Turbos

i believe the issue has been resolved.
Re: Cruise Control and Turbos

I'm not trying to be mean, but search a little harder cause the info is here. And yes it has been resolved. Auto's NEVER had a CC problem.

Do what I did and spend a week just reading this section and the book I recommended and you'll be ANSWERING questions. :goodjob:

Re: Cruise Control and Turbos

whats the fix fow, I saw it no where??
Re: Cruise Control and Turbos

It's not a fix persay, the way the kit is hooked up now (the new way) there's no issue.
Re: Cruise Control and Turbos

Well, if there's no issue now then there should be a fix. I keep hearing Juan saying there is one but I never got it, or seen it in any thread. Never had CC since the day I installed the kit! So... anyone know what the fix is?
Re: Cruise Control and Turbos

i dont think he posted a fix but he did mention in a thread taht i can't seem to find that there is a fix for it.
Re: Cruise Control and Turbos

All new kits have no issues with the CC. Just remove the transmission switch clamp. :D
Re: Cruise Control and Turbos

^^^It's not on there. i never put it on after I switched my 2nd tranny.
Re: Cruise Control and Turbos

What about the older kits?

Well, if the switch is in good working position, the CC must work properly. Mine is working perfectly.

Just remove the clamp and make sure that the throttle is well adjusted with the Haltech so you don't get any hesitation at low load.

If you can answer this ASAP that would be awesome b/c I have to drop my car off at NOPI shortly. Also where is the speed sensor wire to for the turbo timer install. Thanks!!!

I've had my car for 111 weeks and have put 9100 miles on it, that equates to 81.98 miles per week or approx. 4550 per year, so I will probably bump it up to 83.05 per week. Thank you very much Euro!!!!!
