man you need to get a book called maximum boost..... if you read it you will understand why no one is going to give you an answer to this question........ There is a lot of math/experience/information needed to determine the answer to this question. If you want a simple version of the answer it is the lower the compression ratio the better on an FI engine.

You see what I mean pinkcheese? Not too many straight answers. There are a lot of variables that go into the tuning processes. Seriously though, if you pick up that book you will have a good foot in the door in understanding all things boost. I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone who does not love the text.
