Im trying to put in an aftermarket cold air intake and was going to take off the 90° bend right before the air goes into the engine and attach the new intake there but there are a few hoses going into the piece, what are they for and do I need them

Hey man, I'm sure you don't need to remove those? Its the 90 degree bend you need to undo by the brackets and it should come loose? could be wrong tho, let me know im doing the same thing!

My car has an electric throttle body and it looks like a couple hoses connected to the throttle body actually go into that 90° bend

My plan was to take out that bend and out the new intake piping there but as shown in the 3rd photo there is a hose going I to the bend itself and not into the piece next to it

I've done some digging and I think it might be an air flow pipe for the oil... I can't imagine there would be electrical cable going into the throttle body from there...

Yeah that would make sense although I'm not sure how to bypass them. Sorry for the late response I've been away for a while
