Im trying to put in an aftermarket cold air intake and was going to take off the 90° bend right before the air goes into the engine and attach the new intake there but there are a few hoses going into the piece, what are they for and do I need them

You shouldn't need to by pass them I don't think? A new intake pipe should come with a 3" pipe, 2 x rubber seals with metal ties, a MAF sensor fitting on the intake pipe and also a smaller outlet which is where the oil pipe attaches to. I think?? From what I've seen online
