pretty easy, hardest part is getting the clamp loose on the turbo side. After that a nice long flat head is a must on the install of the new inlet. (pic 11)
Seems nice, HKS seems louder now. Only driven like 5 miles so far.

....wtf is that black thing? it looks like someone took plastic, heated it up, and decided to use it like play-doh. can you say, turbulent flow?

Maybe a stupid question, but in your opinion is removing the battery necessary to get this install done? I've got a CP-3 ordered and I'm just wondering. I'm sure it makes life a lot easier if you do remove it. Just wanted some input from someone who's already done an install.

If you do not remove the battery/box, it will be a PITA to take the stock one off and put the new one on.
Here is a video from RPMC. Try imagine the battery/box still there while doing the installation. PITA!!!
the 3 clamps that came with the inlet are to be used on the inlet FYI. the one is used on the connection to the turbo and the other 2 are to hole the metal sleeves in the inlet. it looks like they are secure but you can move them in and out. like this on my speed6:
Do you think its worth the $$? I want my next mod to be bang for the buck without spending too much $$. I have been looking into a test pipe and maybe the TWM STS. Only reason I am considering the inlet is because I have heard it has helped get rid of knock issues, which I have been having.
