New member here - not sure if I’m posting this in the right place but here it goes:

I just bought a dash cam for my 2016 Mazda 3 Hatchback iTouring after I was hit by a loose fire truck hose and my lighter socket is broken - I tried several different cords
Next I checked the fuses in the fuse box and everything was good - no broken fuses. What should I try next??
I really wanted to fix this myself before paying for a mechanic to fix this.

I have the same issue. Certain things I can press down and it will work, but as soon as I release pressure, it stops working. Exact same car.

WOnder how easy it is to replace the socket itself. Anyone have any experience?
