Picked up my '07 Carbon Grey GT sedan today, and in less than 12 hours, the car turned white. I couldn't stand to see my new baby covered in salt, so I took it to the car wash already. 12 hrs I've had the car, and I already need a car wash!

Maybe I should've gotten the silver instead... *sigh*. At least in the summertime, I can wash the car myself! These winter washes are gonna get costly...

I feel your pain! I didn't want to buy a car in the winter partly because of this problem, but my old car died so here I am... I guess the best we can do is get a lot of quarters and keep the carwash place happy.

Wow... how did a thread about my new car being dirty turn into this? :?

I'm not looking forward to the brake dust.... at least I have my winter tires on right now, so it's not noticeable at all... hopefully, by spring, the brakes would've worn down enough so it won't be too bad.

Looks like there'll be a ton of salt and dirt and snow on the roads for the next few days... my car's gonna turn white again!

Wash, DC got winter last night - there's crap all over the place. The Velo Hatch made it to the Metro Station with no major trauma - I can't wait to see how she looks when I get back to her at 5pm. :?

It just snowed by me.. I'll be going to the car wash when the roads clear up a little more. You gotta find a place that has the option of an exterior wash only - it usually cuts the cost down.
