my car wouldn't start right away and it finally started after turning the ignition for like 5 seconds and once it started, the car started shaking for about 10 seconds or so. Now the check engine light's on. what's going on?
You have to get the code read. Some auto parts stores will do that. If the shake goes away, it is probably a fuel injector leaking down. A can or two of injector cleaner may fix that. If it is under warranty, take it in and let them deal with it.
I had the same problem. I just went to the dealership 2 days ago. Every time I go to work in the morning it didn't start up right, my car would die the first time I would try to start it up. Then the second time I start it up it would run normally. You probably need to clean up the throttle body. It would be good to bring it to a dealership and get it check out. If your car is under 50,000 then it's still under warranty.
