Just wondering how the taxes are paid for the purchase of a new car?
Do you pay the tax amount on the spot, and then finance the value of the car (MSRP) plus the PDI and freight charges?
OR... does it work another way?
OR... do you have an option as to which way?

Also, for British Columbia, Canada, we pay freight and PDI, right? How about Air Tax, Fuel Tax? And the admin fee?
Freight: $500.00
PDI: $495.00
Air Tax: $100.00
Fuel Tax: $75.00

Thanks!!

yes,
eg. here in ONT, if your car worth $20,000, you add some air tax, gas tax, admin, etc worth another $2000, your net will be $22,000, then 15%tax =$3300, grand total =$25,300 in cash. If you finance, you will be paying $25,300+interest%, hope you understand my writing.
