I was wondering if anyone has taken off their door panel and tried to figure this theft secret out so we can defeat it with a homemade mod, @ the same time, be careful not to tell people how to successfully break n to our cars!!! Any ideas?

Yeah, it would be nice to be able to stick a nice thick piece of steel back there to protect whatever is being hit by these bastards.

just go to the home tab here in the forum, then search for the word fcuk, yes it is spelled incorrectly, FCUK, then go to the first thread on the list

And BTW, when I was washing my car yesterday, I could feel the area that you are supposed to knock in. It freaked me out, because it literally made a noise and moved under the pressure my hand put on it with a washing mitt :shock:. Not to re-assuring, if you ask me

Has anyone gotten Mazda to fix this yet?

Rest assured there is no problem in the U.S. This is only an isolated incident in Canada. That is what Mazda USA says. Mazda USA says the car is not the problem. The problem is with the criminals not obeying the law! If they don't break the law we have no problem. I feel so much better!

I asked the technician at the local dealer. He says there is no TSB or recall, so he won't fix it. He says there is no problem to fix.
