M|SERy, how do i go about getting the ambient temp readout for my maxx sport? Does it have to be oredered at the factory?

I've been lurking on this forum for the past 5 months. I finally joined today. I've had the car about 3 weeks and am well happy. Live on the northside and work in the southern suburbs.

btw M|SERy, thanks for the heads-up on the temp sensor. I picked one up this arvo and it works a treat.

niz nps, hey at least we don't need to have the same LCD like everyone else in Brisbane, I'm hoping that I'm the only person on the Southside that has done this.

Would love to see the dealers face when it goes in for a service and they see the AMB display on the LCD Screen, looking at it going that's not normal... :lol:

Speaking of dealers. I half expected the dealer's mechanic to say,"I'm sorry Sir, but these sensors are only for the SP23. You have the Maxx Sport & therefore I'm going to have to confiscate this part and blacklist you."

Needn't of worried. He didn't seem to know or care. Just plugged it in & went on his way.

I'm trying to find a nice clean picture of a 16' so I can Sepia Color it just like the one that I have.

I'm thinking about the chrome sides for the indiciators and the chrome rear vision mirror covers.

I think a larger rear vision mirror will look funny in the car, a bit more size from Mazda would of been nice but you get used to it.

I got mine on February 20 it was a just before my birthday on February 25.

Over 100 views to this topic and no one really intrested in a meet... intresting. But I'm not suprised though most people would Working or be at UNI, and don't have much time to do this at the moment.

At one point I was looking at opening up a Mazda 3 Club in Brisbane, having a chat to the dealers around town and let them give out the club details.

Could go all the way and make a Australian Mazda 3 Club, I can just feel the work involved in this, Forums, Club Letters, Meets. Mazda Sponsership (Eg. Cheap parts), I'm starting to like this idea now...

Would be interested in a meet...but more particularly with forming a Mazda Club in Brisbane...I don't think it should be specific to Mz3 as there are alot of diehard Mazda people out there who drive 6's, 8's, 2's and all the old Rotaries...I would be more than happy to share the workload with you if you are serious...it is alot of work, but i'm sure will be alot of fun too. "Mazda Club of Queensland Inc" sounds good...I know the process of registering the club as an incorporation etc, which is what you have to do these days to operate finance's etc...

The idea of a Mazda Club Brisbane might be a little more time involved for all Mazda's Past and Present. I was thinking something same like only The DNA Design Cars (2, 3, 6 and RX8) as most people that would be driving these would be between the ages of 18 - 35 (generally).

This age bracket would be more likley want to go on dayouts and socializing events. I wouldn't knock back other Mazda Cars from the club would just look weird that's all.

MZ6ZoomZoom (Site Admin) has a good idea that we could have something like brisbane.mazda3forums.com but then we are limited to a Mazda3 Club link might put people off if direct links were given out.

Need to have talk to other Mazda3 Drivers in the area to see what they think of the idea.

got uni stuff on atm but i might try to knock up a brisbane website in about a months time when all my exams are over

I'm from Brisbane on the North Side near Aspley. Would be VERY interested in a meet with you guys. Who's in? Aspley maccas is a very popular and great spot for car meets.

I have never had a meet for cars before. but i am kind of curious. If something is organised i will probably tag along at least once.
